We need to get better at doing before and after shots, we mostly just have after and during pictures.
Unfortunately, the pantry shelves left a lot of dead space in the pantry. We decided to tear out the wood shelves and install new wire shelves to get additional space. We could not have done this without the help of my mom and dad.
The other thing we really didn't like is that the master bath was carpeted. It will be awhile before we can do a complete bath upgrade but, in the mean time, we put some cheap self-adhesive vinyl tiles around the toilet.
The feature wall was previously painted a very light and bright green. We did have complents on the color, but it wasn't really for us. Instead we picked a darker, more sophisticated color. To my eye, it is a mixture of brown, clay, and a hint of olive. Being our first painting project progress was slow, but we like the results and I think there is more painting to come.
I wish we did a little better with some before pictures, but you can see me taking down the popcorn ceiling and the finished bath. I still need to get a better picture of the new vanity and light fixture.
Just for the Holidays
I am getting a little better with finish work
